A Fresh Way to Teach US Geography through Story-Based Learning
Our Hit the Road Geography curriculum was created for busy homeschoolers and educators like you.
Our US geography curriculum is a unique blend of information, humor, and hands-on fun. Guided by Thaddeus, our traveling cat, students will journey across all 50 states, joining in on his escapades so students feel as if they have truly visited the state and understand its geography.
Join a hilariously charming cat as he leads you through 3-4 days of engaging journals in each state unit. Along the way, he’ll guide you to iconic landmarks, fascinating points of interest, and unique geographical features—all sprinkled with plenty of humor!
Daily lessons come with reflection sheets with included prompts that are designed to spark recall and creativity. Each sheet includes a speaking portion following by listening and comprehension questions and unique writing assignments.
Hands-on activity sheets include booklets, science experiments, crafts, and more! These activities are designed to reinforce what was learned in the journal entries, offering both new insights and fun opportunities for review to help the material truly stick.
